Dubai Mall, one of the UAE’s premier shopping destinations, is set to implement a new parking system aimed at enhancing convenience and efficiency for motorists starting July 1, 2024. This initiative is part of a broader effort to streamline parking management and improve the overall visitor experience.

Key Details of the New Parking System

The new parking system, operated by Salik Company PJSC, known for its toll gate services across Dubai, introduces several changes. Here’s everything you need to know:

 1. Barrier-Free Entry and Exit

The transition to a barrier-free system is designed to make entering and exiting the parking zones at Dubai Mall smoother and faster. This advanced system leverages Salik’s toll technology to automatically register vehicles and manage parking fees.

 2. Implementation of Paid Parking Zones

Starting July 1, 2024, paid parking will be enforced in specific areas of Dubai Mall, including the Fashion, Grand, and Cinema parking zones. This move aims to regulate parking availability and manage congestion, particularly during peak hours.

 3. Exempted and Free Parking Areas

Visitors can still find free parking options at the Zabeel and Fountain View parking zones. Additionally, People of Determination are eligible for exemptions from parking fees at Dubai Mall. To avail of this benefit, they must apply through Salik’s channels and meet the necessary criteria.
