The Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, has emphasized the urgent need to address the humanitarian crisis in the Palestinian territories. Speaking to the media after leading a ministerial-level meeting in New York aimed at promoting peace in the Middle East, Prince Faisal warned of the continuing escalation in the occupied territories. He stressed that a two-state solution was necessary for resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and that the issue must be brought back to the forefront. The Foreign Minister further stated that the meeting aimed to revitalize peace efforts and that the greatest priority was to alleviate the suffering caused by the humanitarian crisis in the Palestinian territories. A World Bank report released on the same day highlighted the impact of Israeli controls on the movement of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank, which are preventing them from accessing life-saving health treatments. The meeting was attended by high-level officials from various countries and international organizations.
