The "Shark Tank Dubai" program returns for its third season on Dubai TV, following its great success
the previous two seasons and achieving high viewership ratings. This return is not merely entertainment
broadcast but rather a strategic step by Dubai Media Incorporated to support the entrepreneurship
ecosystem and small and medium enterprises in the Emirate, in line with the "Dubai Economic Agenda"
(D33), which aims to double Dubai's economy and enhance its position as a global economic hub.
The program aims to provide golden opportunities for young entrepreneurs and owners of bold ideas,
empowering them to benefit from Dubai's distinguished investment environment to achieve their
dreams and develop their projects.
The airing of the third season begins today (according to the original article's date), and it hosts more
than 77 entrepreneurs from the UAE and around the world. They will present their projects and
products before a committee of major investors known as "The Sharks." Participants will compete to
convince the investors to fund their projects in exchange for a share of them.
Salim Balayouha, Content Executive Director at "Dubai Media Incorporated," affirmed the institution's
commitment to supporting small and medium enterprises as an "engine for economic growth" and a
fundamental contributor to GDP, providing opportunities for youth and stimulating innovation. He
described the program as having transformed into an "incubation hub" for the growth of
entrepreneurship, thanks to its ability to empower project owners to expand their networks and benefit
from Dubai's opportunities. He also expressed "Dubai Media Incorporated's" pride in the partnership
with the investor committee, describing its members as important economic figures with extensive
experience and strong connections.
For her part, Sarah Al Jarman, Head of TV and Radio Channels, said that the program has become an
"important platform" for showcasing ambitious ideas, highlighting local investment opportunities, and
motivating youth to enter the entrepreneurship sector. She noted the diversity of projects and
participants in the third season, which reflects Dubai's cultural diversity, and pointed to "Dubai Media
Incorporated's" technical and logistical efforts to present the program in the best possible way.
The main investor committee for the third season includes Elie Khoury, Faisal bin Juma Belhoul, and
Amira Sajwani. Each episode will also feature the joining of two prominent businessmen and women as
guest stars, such as Adel Sajan, Mohamad Ballout, Noor Sweid, Seema Ved, Mona Kattan, Mona Ataya,
and others, which enriches the participants' experiences.
The investors expressed the program's importance; Elie Khoury pointed to its flexibility and ability to
meet entrepreneurs' needs for funding and guidance. Faisal Belhoul considered the program a source of
inspiration for investors as well, for discovering new opportunities and ideas. Amira Sajwani saw the
program as an important economic and social experience that contributes to creating a new generation
of entrepreneurs capable of benefiting from Dubai's supportive environment.
The second season of the program showed tangible success, where it attracted over 65 entrepreneurs
and achieved investments exceeding 31 million AED for 27 projects. This success confirms the program's
role in driving economic development and enhancing Dubai's position as a preferred destination for
investment and entrepreneurship.
