One ordinary day, when the sunshine seemed to carry a special inspiration, a vision germinated in the mind of an unlikely business woman, Mrs. Smita Kale. It was a vision that spoke with a passionate voice: her favourite milk brand from India would be a big hit in the UAE! without blinking an eye, she invested in a few milk packs and went door to door delivering her favourite milk brand to friends and colleagues in Ajman. Some more passionate steps forward and she secured a shelf assignment in a medium sized hypermarket. In just a few days, she received her first order of 50 cartons!
It was only her at first. Then, Mr. Kale also caught the vision.
That was 2005, when the Kale’s journey of success now known in the UAE FMCG scene as Al Saniya began. Down the years, vision and passion would propel Mr. and Mrs. Kale through the vicissitudes of business.
In 2006, the vision was clear but the road ahead was unpaved. Mr. and Mrs. Kale struggled to sell as they added more products in groceries and supermarket. But passion for the vision prevailed.
In 2007, the company moved from Ajman to Sharjah as distribution expanded.
In 2008, the expanding vision now encompassed the region’s hub, Dubai. The company set up its headquarters in Dubai under the name, Al Saniya Foodstuff General Trading, LLC.
In 2009, passion for more brands necessitated a warehouse to accommodate exponential growth Thus, a purchase of more than 4000 sq.ft. warehouse and several delivery vans.
In 2010, vision and passion bore the sweet fruits of more exclusive products distribution including famous brands like Varna, Samrat, and Adinath Agro.With all these achievements, Al Saniya has only began their journey to the big leagues.
In 2014, Al Saniya joined the exclusive group of elite food distributors by launching their own brands.
In 2015, Al Saniya got the distinction of being the largest global exporter of Chillies.
Bigger achievements await Al Saniya. With their vision expanding and passion bursting, success can only get bigger and bigger.
